Day 1
Dutch St. Maarten
Upon your arrival at the international airport on the Dutch side of St. Maarten, take a taxi to meet your yacht and crew. After a warm welcome, you'll receive a safety briefing and a thorough walk-through of your luxury charter yacht, allowing you to familiarize yourself with your home for the week. Once settled in, enjoy a light lunch on board as you start to unwind. The Captain will then collect your passports to handle customs clearance before the yacht can depart the lagoon through a drawbridge. After clearing customs, sail to a nearby anchorage where you can take a refreshing swim in the warm Caribbean waters.
Day 2:
Dutch Saint Maarten to Anguilla
16nm*
Begin your day with breakfast on board before setting sail toward Anguilla, located about 16 nautical miles from Dutch St. Maarten. Relax on the foredeck, soaking up the sun and enjoying the refreshing trade winds as you round the tip of St. Maarten and watch the beautiful island of Anguilla come into view. Upon arrival, your Captain will drop anchor, and you'll take a tender ashore to complete the Customs check-in. Once cleared, you can explore the island with a taxi tour, visiting historic sites like old rum distilleries, famous resorts, or enjoying live jazz performances by local musicians. In the afternoon, spend your time snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters or simply relaxing on board.
Day 3
Anguilla
5-7nm*
Start your day by setting the fishing lines as you sail to some of Anguilla's nearby deserted islands, such as Dog Island, Prickly Pear, and Sandy Island, just a short sail of around 5 to 7 nautical miles. These spots are perfect for snorkeling, with crystal-clear waters and vibrant coral reefs teeming with marine life. After a leisurely lunch, spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach or exploring the rocky islands nearby. This area is ideal for water activities like wakeboarding or paddleboarding. As the day winds down, your Captain will hoist the sails for a short, scenic sail to Crocus Bay, where you'll anchor for the night. The crew will prepare cocktails for you to enjoy as you watch the sunset from the tiny beach, making for a perfect end to the day.
Day 4
Anguilla to French St. Martin
12nm*
Begin your day with a relaxing morning at Maundays Bay or Rendezvous Bay on the southern side of Anguilla. After soaking up the sun and enjoying the pristine beaches, set sail for Marigot on the French side of St. Martin. Once you arrive in Marigot, take some time to explore the vibrant street markets, where you can browse for local goods and unique souvenirs. From this charming capital, consider taking a taxi to Paradise Peak, where a hiking trail offers breathtaking views of the surrounding islands. For those interested in history, Fort Louis is within walking distance from the marina and makes for a fascinating visit.
Day 5
Tintamarre and Ile Fourchue
Start your day in the charming French village of Grand Case, where you can enjoy an authentic French dinner ashore and dance the night away in one of the lively clubs lining the streets of this popular town. The next morning, set sail for the nearby island of Tintamarre. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by yet another stunning beach. Here, you can indulge in a unique experience by applying natural mud from the pools on the island, letting it dry in the warm sun before washing it off in the ocean. Following a delightful lunch onboard, continue your journey to lle Fourchue, an extinct volcanic caldera, where more adventures and breathtaking scenery await.
Day 6
Ile Fourchue to St. Barts
9nm*
Begin your day with a swim or take the tender ashore to explore the unique
landscape of Ile Fourchue. With its black sand beach and arid terrain, this
island feels almost otherworldly. Located between St. Maarten and St. Barts, Ile
Fourchue is a dry, rocky island with steep hills and craggy peaks, reaching a
height of just 33 feet above sea level. The island is privately owned, and its
only inhabitants are a few goats.
Nearby, a dive site offers some of the best snorkeling and SCUBA diving in the
Caribbean, with waters full of diverse fish species, eagle rays, and vibrant
coral. After exploring underwater, hike to the peaks of lle Fourchue to take in
stunning 360° views of the surrounding islands and your yacht anchored below.
After a morning at lle Fourchue, set sail for St. Barts, approximately 9
nautical miles away. Arrive in Gustavia, the capital of St. Barts, where you can
spend the afternoon exploring this sophisticated and charming port town, known
for its French flair, luxury boutiques, and vibrant atmosphere.
Day 7
St. Barts
Start your day in Gustavia by taking a leisurely stroll along the picturesque harbor, lined with boutique shops and French cafes. While you explore, your Captain will handle the customs clearance at the Customs House. For a adventurous exploration, consider renting a four-wheeler to traverse the island's scenic routes. This allows you to discover St. Barts' hidden gems, from secluded beaches to stunning viewpoints, at your own pace. The island's rugged terrain and breathtaking vistas make for an exciting ride. Later in the day, the yacht will move to the nearby bay of Anse de Colombier. This beautiful and tranquil anchorage offers the perfect spot to unwind. You can hike along a scenic trail that connects the beaches, enjoying the natural beauty and peaceful surroundings.
