We offer charters in both Greece and the Caribbean. In Greece, our
itineraries explore the Cyclades, the Ionian Sea and the Saronic Gulf.
While in the Caribbean, we sail around islands such as St. Maarten,
Anguilla, St. Barths, Antigua & Barbuda, St. Kitts & Nevis, and more.
Our Lagoon 51 catamaran, Athena Blu, comfortably accommodates up to 10
guests.
The charter comes with a certified captain and a professional yacht
chef. Both are dedicated to making your experience smooth and luxurious.

yourself in the sailing experience. You and your group can learn the
fundamentals of sailing under the guidance of our expert crew. From
navigation to handling the boat, we’ll make sure you’re comfortable and
ready to take the helm with confidence.
Yes, a valid passport is required for all international destinations,
both in Greece and the Caribbean. Be sure to check visa requirements for
your specific nationality before traveling.
Absolutely! We welcome families and offer a range of activities that
kids will love, including snorkelling, water sports, and beach fun.
Please let us know the ages of your children when booking so we can
tailor the experience.
Pets are generally not allowed on board to ensure the safety and
cleanliness of the yacht.
We offer a wide range of water activities, including scuba diving,
paddle boarding, tubing, water skiing, and snorkelling. Our yacht also
has sea bobs and a 60 hp dinghy. For relaxation, enjoy beach strolls,
hammock lounging, or sunbathing on the foredeck. Drone footage of your
trip is also available upon request.
Pack light - casual clothing, swimwear, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and
any personal toiletries.
Yes, a security deposit is required before the start of the charter. The
amount varies depending on the destination and duration of your trip and
will be outlined in your booking agreement.
APA stands for Advance Provisioning Allowance. It is a separate amount
set aside for provisioning and operating expenses during your charter,
such as food, beverages, fuel, and dockage fees. APA is not included in
the base price; instead, it is added on upon signing the booking
agreement, typically at 20% of the charter fee. This allows us to ensure
that all your preferences and needs are met throughout your sailing
experience. Any unused funds from the APA will be refunded to you at the
end of the charter.
Our cancellation policy varies depending on the booking period and
destination. Full details are provided at the time of booking, but we
generally offer flexibility for rescheduling in cases of unexpected
circumstances or changes in travel restrictions.
The CHARTER YACHT INCLUSIVE CHARTER AGREEMENT details all the terms of
your sailing adventure and is set up for electronic signing by all
parties involved. Once signed, a 25% charter fee deposit must be wired
to the charter escrow account, where the funds will be securely managed
according to the agreement.
An additional 25% deposit is required via bank wire to the charter escrow account 180 days (6 months) before the start of the charter.
Forty-five days (6 weeks) prior to the charter, the remaining balance of 50% must be wired to the charter escrow account. Upon confirmation of these funds, welcome letters will be dispatched to the guests along with a request for preference sheets. After we receive these sheets, our crew will connect with the guests via phone to discuss the itinerary, menu selections, and any specific needs or preferences.
In the week leading up to your charter, Captain Chris will reconfirm all details with the primary guest and arrange any necessary ground transportation from the airport to the marina.
On the day of your charter, our crew will ensure constant communication with the guests to facilitate a smooth arrival and provide a warm welcome aboard Athena Blu.

Check-in is usually at 3:00 PM on the first day of your charter, and
check-out is at 11:00 AM on the last day. Early check-ins or late
check-outs can be arranged upon request, depending on availability.

your preferences, weather conditions, and local regulations. Whether you
want to explore secluded bays, historical sites, or bustling marinas, we
tailor the experience to your desires!
Yes, Wi-Fi is included during your charter. Our yacht is equipped with
Star link, ensuring reliable internet connectivity even in remote areas,
allowing you to stay connected while enjoying your sailing adventure.
Yes, the captain and yacht chef sleep on board. They have designated
crew quarters to ensure your privacy and comfort throughout the trip.
The charter rate includes the yacht, the services of a certified captain
and a professional chef, all meals prepared on board using fresh, local
organic ingredients, water sports equipment, fuel, and cleaning
services. It also covers marina fees and basic amenities, ensuring you
have a seamless and enjoyable sailing experience.
The rate does not include airfare, personal travel insurance, land
excursions, premium alcohol, or gratuities for the crew (typically
10-20% of the charter cost based on your satisfaction). Any special
requests or additional activities may incur extra charges.
Seasickness can be a concern for some guests, but our experienced
captain carefully plans routes to minimize the risk. Athena Blu is
equipped with stabilizers to reduce motion, and our crew provides
anti-nausea remedies to ensure your comfort. Most guests adjust quickly
to the rhythm of the sea.
